ACTMS™ - Gas Turbine Monitor

The Acoustic Combustion Turbine Monitoring System utilizes strength in AE technology and non-invasive sensors to detect and provide early warning cracking events (i.e., stator blades) and to subsequently prevent future failures. Unlike legacy options, which are periodic and performed out of service, ACTMS provides global, in-service monitoring solutions with real-time protection and warnings of active flaws. MISTRAS’ advanced AE technology not only detects crack presence, but also locates crack position and determines if the flaw is isolated or part of a global event in a localized area, saving time both when/if repairs are necessary and by optimizing the remaining life of a turbine.
