FieldCal – Hand-held AE Signal Generator

MISTRAS' low-cost, hand-held AE signal generator is battery-powered and can produce all the necessary AE signals to verify the correct operation of AE sensors, preamplifiers and AE systems -– including standard waveforms, tone bursts, and continuous waves as well as signal levels from sensors to 26dB or40dB preamplifiers. FieldCAL’'s output level is adjustable to any AE sensor as well as 26 dB or 40dB preamplifier. It operates for about one month of daily use on two AA batteries and has built-in protection for rugged use in the field and tough operating conditions.
