PreAmp One Acoustic Emission (AE) Pre-Amplifier

MISTRAS’ PreAMP One is an amplifier that connects single-end sensors or differential/dual crystal sensors. It offers maximum flexibility to define gain, filter settings, and Automatic Sensor Test (AST) burst frequency. The PreAMP One can generate and send a 500 µsec fixed duration tone burst to the connected sensor and can be configured for up to four different frequencies (4.5 kHz, 150 kHz, 300 kHz, and 500 kHz).

The PreAmp One comes in two models, a 5V which offers a selectable gain of 0, 6, 12, 26, and 32 decibels (dB), and a 28V model, which provides a gain of 0, 20, 40, and 60 dB. Both options offer four selectable high and low pass filters and can be used seamlessly with MISTRAS’ AE systems or with other data acquisition boards.
